Examination System

Semester 1

Mid Term Examination

  • Conducted in August
  • Covers 50% of syllabus
  • 5 to 8 subjects depending on grade level
  • Duration: 1-2 hours per paper

End Semester Examination

  • Conducted Before Diwali Break (likely October/November)
  • Covers entire semester syllabus
  • Duration: 2–3 hours per paper

Additionally, there are monthly class tests to assess students' progress throughout the year. This schedule suggests a regular and structured assessment plan to evaluate students' understanding and progress throughout the academic year.

Semester 2

Monthly assessments are conducted to monitor each student’s learning journey. The exam schedule reflects a consistent and methodical approach, designed to gauge academic progress and comprehension as students advance through the academic term.

Continuous Evaluation

Students are regularly assessed through:

  • Unit Tests – 10%
  • Projects & Assignments – 10%
  • Class Participation – 5%
  • Practical Exams (if applicable)

Grading System

Grades are assigned as follows:

  • A1: 91–100% (Outstanding)
  • A2: 81–90% (Excellent)
  • B1: 71–80% (Very Good)
  • B2: 61–70% (Good)
  • C1: 51–60% (Satisfactory)
  • C2: 41–50% (Acceptable)
  • D: 33–40% (Needs Improvement)
  • E: Below 33% (Unsatisfactory/ Failing Grade)
