Semester 1
Mid Term Examination
- Conducted in August
- Covers 50% of syllabus
- 5 to 8 subjects depending on grade level
- Duration: 1-2 hours per paper
End Semester Examination
- Conducted Before Diwali Break (likely October/November)
- Covers entire semester syllabus
- Duration: 2–3 hours per paper
Additionally, there are monthly class tests to assess students' progress throughout the year. This schedule suggests a regular and structured assessment plan to evaluate students' understanding and progress throughout the academic year.
Semester 2

Monthly assessments are conducted to monitor each student’s learning journey. The exam schedule reflects a consistent and methodical approach, designed to gauge academic progress and comprehension as students advance through the academic term.
Continuous Evaluation
Students are regularly assessed through:
- Unit Tests – 10%
- Projects & Assignments – 10%
- Class Participation – 5%
- Practical Exams (if applicable)
Grading System
Grades are assigned as follows:
- A1: 91–100% (Outstanding)
- A2: 81–90% (Excellent)
- B1: 71–80% (Very Good)
- B2: 61–70% (Good)
- C1: 51–60% (Satisfactory)
- C2: 41–50% (Acceptable)
- D: 33–40% (Needs Improvement)
- E: Below 33% (Unsatisfactory/ Failing Grade)
